Our Standard Abrasivesā¢ Silicon Carbide Cross Pad is a multi-purpose abrasive designed for fast results on non-ferrous metals and stainless steel for blending, deburring, polishing and finishing. The shape and flexibility of the cross pad enables access to holes, recesses, and cylinder walls. Moreover, space between the fingers of the pad helps operators see the workpiece during use.
Flexible and easily conforms to the workpiece. Ideal for deburring and polishing most radii, holes, recesses and cylinder walls. Multi-ply laminated construction produces cushioned, chatter-free grinding. Resin bond system provides good grain retention and life. Silicon Carbide mineral produces a fine finish. Use with a Standard Abrasivesā¢ Mandrel for Abrasive Pads (sold separately). Useful for polishing bell-mouth pieces, drop forge dies, and other pieces with deep recesses
