Our Standard Abrasivesā¢ Aluminum Oxide Overlap Disc compresses when entering a hole or cylinder to provide coverage of inside diameters. Used for push and push/pull applications, it is useful for mainly for deburring applications on steel, rubber, plastic and composites. It features a threaded eyelet arbor hole for mandrel attachment.
Cloth backing provides added durability to resist tearing and fraying. Compatible Standard Abrasivesā¢ Mandrels are available separately. Effective on all steels, rubber, plastic and composites. Overlapped construction compresses contact with internal radii, holes, and cylinder walls. Sets of 2 discs are used for push applications while 4 discs are used for push and pull. Stacked discs supply a firm, aggressive cut. Useful for light to medium deburring, polishing, cleaning, blending and chamfering applications
