Our Standard Abrasivesā¢ Aluminum Oxide Slotted Cloth Disc compresses when entering a hole or cylinder to provide full contact with inside diameters. Typically used in push applications, it is useful for light deburring, blending, cleaning, polishing, and chamfering applications on steel, rubber, plastic and composites. It features a threaded eyelet arbor hole for mandrel attachment.
Choose a disc diameter at least 1/2? smaller than the internal diameter of the workpiece. Cloth backing provides added durability to resist tearing and fraying. Compatible Standard Abrasivesā¢ Mandrels are available separately. Effective on all steels, rubber, plastic and composites. Slotted construction compresses in push applications for full contact with internal radii, holes, and cylinder walls. Useful for light deburring, polishing, cleaning, blending and chamfering applications
