Our Standard Abrasivesā¢ Aluminum Oxide Cross Pad is a multi-purpose abrasive designed for a variety of industrial applications, including blending, deburring, polishing and finishing. The flexibility of the cross pad enables access to holes, recesses, and cylinder walls. Moreover, space between the fingers of the pad helps operators see the workpiece during use.
Aluminum oxide mineral suits most general applications. Flexible and easily conforms to the workpiece. Ideal for deburring and polishing most radii, holes, recesses and cylinder walls. Multi-ply laminated construction produces cushioned, chatter-free grinding. Resin bond system provides good grain retention and life. Use with a Standard Abrasivesā¢ Mandrel for Abrasive Pads (sold separately). Useful for polishing bell-mouth pieces, drop forge dies, and other pieces with deep recesses
