3Mâ„¢ Cubitronâ„¢ ll Cloth Roll 966F offers revolutionary performance with 3M Precision Shaped Grain on either a Z-weight or Y-weight polyester cloth backing. This high-performing roll contains a grinding aid, making it ideal for medium to high pressure applications on titanium, stainless steel and other exotic alloys. This product can be used in either wet or dry applications.
3Mâ„¢ Precision Shaped Grain cuts exceptionally fast, helping increase productivity. Grinding aid helps to further reduce heat and grinding temperatures. Polyester material is water resistant to allow use with liquid lubricants. Precision Shaped Grain requires less pressure. Resin bonding material resists heat and helps to prevent discoloration. Z-weight in grades 20+ and 24+ with all other grades being a Y-weight cloth backing that is tough enough for aggressive sanding action
