Our 3M™ CBN Wheel 164PK is used to generate the flute which is the helical or straight groove in the body of the cutting tools made of tool steel and high speed steel. This polyimide bonded wheel offers high cut rates, good form retention, and increased thermal stability during higher temperature grinding operations.
Arbor holes made to customer specifications. Best used for grinding high speed steel, tool steels, and ferrous metals. Cubic boron nitride abrasive mineral maintains fast cut rates at high temperatures. Greater form retention when compared to wheels with phenolic resin bonds. Polyimide bond system provides improved thermal stability and cut rates
