The 3M™ Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fastener SJ3871 has a modified acrylic adhesive on the back of a black polypropylene reclosable fastener. This product can be used both indoors and outside in a variety of applications; and has a slim 0.24” engaged thickness and long service life.
Black fastener is hidden when closed, providing a clean, smooth appearance. Ideal for indoor and outdoor use to attach doors, flexible solar panels, headliners, access panels, signs and display components. Medium temperature resistance – up to 140°F (60°C). Modified acrylic adhesive bonds to many plastics, powder coated paints and medium to low surface energy materials with little or no surface preparation. Reclosable system is up to five times stronger than hook-and-loop fasteners. Snap-in-place installation replaces screws, nails, snaps and rivets.
